Man killed, buried by friends for demanding repayment of Rs 50K loan

In Patancheru, three people killed a friend, who demanded repayment of a manual loan of Rs 50,000 granted to one of them and buried him in a cemetery.

Sangareddy: In a sensational murder, three people killed a friend, who demanded repayment of a handbook loan of Rs 50,000 granted to one of them and buried him in a cemetery in Patancheru.

The victim was Mohammed Sameer (28), a resident of Patancheru town. Sameer disappeared from his home on the evening of September 9. Following a complaint from his father Salim, the Patancheru police registered a case and during the investigation, Sheikh Ilyas (32) of Patancheru town was arrested on Monday.

Ilyas confessed that he and his two friends killed Sameer on September 9 and buried Sameer in the city’s Muslim cemetery. Following the information, the police exhumed the body on Tuesday. Police arrested another defendant, Rustum Ali, brother-in-law of Ilyas, in custody. The third defendant Mr. D. Allauddin was on the run.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, DSP S Bheem Reddy said main defendant Ilyas borrowed 50,000 rupees from victim Sameer eight months ago. When he demanded repayment of the loan, Illayas hatched a plan to eliminate him with the help of his friends.

Asking him to come to the cemetery to dig a burial for a poor man, Illayas, Rustum Ali and Allauddin attacked him and buried him in the same burial. The police seized Sameer’s vehicle, and the wand used to attack Sameer. ends
