By Caleb Symons (May 10, 2022, 6:52 p.m. EDT) – Hong Kong-based lender Noble Prestige Ltd. defends its $6 million arbitration award in a debt dispute with a US citizen last known to Thailand, denying claims by the man’s curator that their 2011 loan deal was illegal and that arbitrators favored the business.
In asking a federal court in Florida on Friday to uphold his sentence, Noble Prestige noted that Galle Law Group curator Craig Galle is not alleging any financial or legal relationship between the company and panel chairman Simon Powell, whom Galle has accused of bias.
