If you are interested in joining the US Navy, you may be eligible for over $100,000 upfront.

The Navy recently announced that it has increased its enlistment bonuses and loan repayment amounts. Future sailors and former service members are now eligible for enlistment bonuses and loan repayment of up to $115,000.

According to the Navy Recruiting Command, those who choose to enlist could get up to $50,000 in signing bonuses and up to $65,000 in loan forgiveness.

To be eligible for bonuses, prospective sailors and former service members must be able to depart for training by September 30, 2022. Navy and other service veterans must enter active duty at pay grade E -4 or lower, meet specific bounty eligibility and did not receive a bounty upon their first enlistment.

Navy veterans must have served their last period of active duty or active duty for training in the United States Navy or Navy Reserve, and have been discharged or discharged for more than 24 hours. They must also have completed 12 consecutive weeks of active duty or active duty for training.

For other service veterans, such as the Army, Air Force, Space Force, Marines, or Coast Guard, it’s the same requirement.

Additionally, high school students who enter the Deferred Entry Program before October 31, 2022 and graduate from high school before shipping in July 2023 can receive up to $10,000.
